How many debates have we heard about the use of lethal force by
Police officers across the World? I would like to raise the question
about the 'law-enforcement' officers who shoot to kill.
You will rarely hear about Police using firearms in society, and in reality
we should call Police methods of shoot-to-kill as being fascist and
murderous, and totally unncecessary.
For example, why don't Police ever use tranquilizer-guns, which would
stop a suspect and give the Police a chance to apprehend and question,
and also get the information from a suspect which might uncover furthur
crimes or criminal-partners?
BANG! The gun shoots off a piece of boiling hot lead, which rips through
the skin, into the human body and might ricochet (bounce) off bones,
breaking them and ripping arteries apart, causing the slow and painful
death by bleeding, or into the lungs causing blood to fill them, which
both suffocates the person shot while they experience the hot lead burning
inside them. No wonder when Police shoot someone, they quickly encircle
the victim and hold the person down to prevent the public from seeing the
victim convulse violently in pain before death.
There can be little justification by officers to open fire on people, as it is
possible to detain an armed suspect by using a tranquilizer gun.
So why do Police shoot to kill? In South Australia, police use bullets with
split-tipped points which squash flat upon impact, rupturing a hole the
size of a baseball. That is brutal. The Police explanation given is that
they only shoot to kill when in the most dangerous situation where an
armed person is threatening Police. But to save lives, and apprehend
a criminal who might have valuable information a tranquilizer gun should be
first used.
People who join the police to get a gun are stupid.
